The Northern Trust in Boston this weekend produced some super low rounds, Dustin Johnson was 11 under through 11, however only managed 7 pars coming in to produce an eye catching 60. Meanwhile it was Scottie Scheffler who became only the 12th player in PGA tour history to shoot 59.
Scheffler went out in 30 shots and then produced five birdies from the 10th to the 16th. As a result, this set up a tense 18th hole leaving him needing to birdie the par-five to hit 59. Cometh the hour cometh the man? Absolutely. Scheffler rolled up a put from 80ft leaving a nervy 5fter to reach the feat, which he nailed.
So who is in this elite club?
What is in the bag of someone who soots 59? (Well Scotty Schefflers bag)
